WHERE DID IT ALL START?

I’m Jason - a British travel filmmaker, storyteller, and consultant. Over the past eight years, I’ve travelled through more than 65 countries, documenting the people, cultures, and quieter corners of the world that often go unseen. What began as a simple curiosity has become a full-time pursuit of thoughtful travel - sharing meaningful stories through film.

Born in Yorkshire, raised in Cambridgeshire. I studied Tourism Management at the University of Plymouth, graduating with First Class Honours - but it was a year working in the executive lounge of a five-star hotel near Shanghai that truly opened my eyes to the world of opportunity around me. A different pace of life. A different language. A new way of seeing. Living in China didn’t just inspire me - it shifted how I viewed the world: not as a map of places, but as a series of stories waiting to be uncovered.

With a few hundred pounds saved from that internship, I bought my first camera and took a solo trip across China. I had no plan beyond curiosity, but those early vlogs quietly marked the start of what would become a full-time creative path. When I returned to the UK, I finished my degree, then immediately began building my YouTube channel. I had no funding - just consistency and passion for filming, editing, and storytelling.

Since then, I’ve travelled through over 65 countries, gained more than 600,000 YouTube subscribers, and accumulated over 55 million views. From quiet villages in Bangladesh to cold deserts in Mongolia. I’ve worked with global tourism boards, brands, hotels, and ministries. At the core is still the same focus: to explore thoughtfully, film honestly, and bring people closer to places they have never seen or thought about.
